Why.

The purpose of this blog is to share my thoughts about how I see many of the companies in our country benefiting from the same programs that their politics would likely oppose.  Making money off the government is big business.  It is a part of the business plan for many companies. 

I write this not to say that the government should not subsidize business.  My career over the last 8 years has been built around government programs that subsidize businesses to do the things we believe our country needs that the market would not necessarily fulfill on its own.

The market is not the answer for all of our issues, and neither is the government.  Rather than being opposed to each other, I believe they both can be motivated and controlled in ways that will benefit all.  Here, I hope to share some stories where the market and government have worked together not to benefit all but only to benefit a select few.
